This package provides the utilities (sub packages) related for the special keys and buttons on your computer. The special keys and buttons are designed on the accessibility and usability.

The utilities enable the full functionality for the special keys and buttons.

On Screen Display
This software enables F1-F12 special keys and buttons on your computer.
For example, when the microphone mute key or button is pressed, the microphone state switches between mute and unmute. The mute state indicator is displayed on the screen whenever the mute state is changed.

If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.

Problem fixes:
- Fixed Hang issue in setup.exe when silently install with /S parameter.

Notation:

Privacy Guard state may not be turned on if we press Win+L while we operate on wireless network window on Action Center.

F8 (airplane mode on/off) and F10 (Bluetooth on/off) function may not work when pressing these keys while F7 (display switch) UI window is opened.
You can manually turn on/off these functions in Windows standard way - click or tap toggle button on Windows Action Center. It is opened by F8 and F10.

Uninstall Lenovo Settings in order to activate Lenovo Vantage function.
This package works with Lenovo Settings when Lenovo Settings is installed.
This package also works with Lenovo Vantage when Lenovo Vantage is installed.
If both Lenovo Settings and Lenovo Vantage are installed, this package might try to work with Lenovo Settings.
Uninstall Lenovo Settings from start menu if you encounter hot key function issue after updating both software. Latest version of Lenovo Settings shows following message text and a button to open Lenovo Vantage. Lenovo Companion was renamed to Lenovo Vantage in December, 2017.
"Lenovo Settings has merged with Lenovo Vantage! This stand-alone version of the Lenovo Settings application will no longer be updated and can be uninstalled."

In version 9.0.0.7, added support for F12 user defined key to open network folder function. Choose "Open web site" function and set the path string followed by file protocol prefix "file://". The last charactor is assumed to be slash '/' or back slash '\'.
