Description:

This utility will examine your system configuration and detect all NVMe Solid State Drives (SSD) installed. It will then check the firmware revision of the drive and judge whether your PC requires a firmware update or not. If required, it will prompt you to run the appropriate firmware update program for your drive.

Important information:

1. After completing a firmware update, the NVMe Solid State Drives will not properly function until you shut down and reboot PC. Before executing a drive firmware update, be sure of following;
- Close all the applications besides of the Firmware Update Utility.
- Verify that the AC power cord is connected to outlet and adapter cable is connected to PC firmly.
- Make sure that a charged battery pack is installed in PC.
- Do not power off, remove a drive during an update. Otherwise your drive may become damaged.
2. This utility contains several executable files.
DO NOT RUN THESE PROGRAMS except FWWINSD.EXE.
Running these programs other than FWWINSD.EXE could ruin your Solid State Drive.
3. Need to update IRST to 15.0 or newer when could not FW update on the P50, RAID and P70, RAID.
4. Need to update BIOS or Remove HDD Password when could not FW update on the P50, P51 and P70, P71 with HDP.
5. Need to Remove HDD Password when could not FW update on the A275, A475 with HDP.
6. FW update is not supported on WinPE.
7. Need to update BIOS when could not FW update.
